"Ponder It" is a book of short stories that was written and illustrated by Nkiyasi Helm.  Many of the stories within are the result of real life experiences that she has encountered. These stories were written to provide insight on some of the issues children are literacy and low self-confidence.  Her stories are unique because they are from a kid's perspective and offer a non-water down version of how children see, cope and deal with the world. Each story has a motivational or inspirational message that can be enjoyed by children and adults.
